25 Powerful Questions to Ask Yourself in 2025
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself: Why am I doing what I’m doing?
What would you do differently if you knew your time was limited?
Times are tough for many of us.
And the tougher the times, the more clarity we gain about what truly matters and what doesn’t.
That’s why I want this blog to have real, human-to-human advice about what to look at in your own life before you dive deeper into your business or career.
It doesn’t matter if you just started or if you’ve been working for 20 years.
In this post, I’m going to ask you some questions.
It’s probably more than 25 questions. I didn’t really count.
In a time-pressured, money-driven world, it’s crucial to pause and ask yourself:
Why am I doing this?
Does it align with my deeper values and goals?
It often feels like there’s no room for that kind of thinking.
Some people might even tell you to “save it for your therapist”–Ouch!
But the way I see it, 100% of people need to think about this more deeply.
Doing so will save a lot of emotional pain, time, money, and headaches in the long run.
Living With Purpose
If your goals aren’t rooted in your personal truth, you’re likely to feel empty—even if you achieve them.
Let me give you an example.
I spent weeks thinking about what I wanted this blog to be.
I could’ve just optimized it for Google’s algorithm or “trending topics,” creating content designed around social media growth and traffic.
Sure, it might have worked.
But deep down, I knew that wasn’t what I wanted to do. It felt hollow.
My heart wouldn’t have been in it.
Have you ever chased something, knowing deep down it wasn’t what you truly wanted?
Are you growing for the sake of growth, or are you moving toward something that actually fulfills you?
If you keep going down this path, will you feel connected to yourself—or disconnected?
What I really want for this personal blog is to help people and share my truth. I want to connect with others, not just please an algorithm.
That doesn’t mean I ignore the strategies. They’re still important–especially if I want to take it to the next level and get more exposure.
When was the last time something felt truly effortless because you loved doing it?
Does your work energize you, or does it drain you?
When your work aligns with your purpose, the energy to do the hard stuff comes naturally.
Chasing Success vs. Finding Meaning
Many of us pursue business ideas with dreams of getting rich, quitting our jobs, or gaining fame and admiration.
The desperation to achieve our goals can create a cutthroat, high-pressure environment where people become so focused on chasing external success that they lose sight of what truly matters—turning life into a constant competition where everyone is only looking out for themselves.
Our society places so much importance on superficial success and personal image.
Yet, even celebrities—people who have “made it”—often confess to feeling the most empty once they’ve reached the top.
They talk about wishing they’d spent more time with loved ones or doing things that genuinely brought them joy.
Are you chasing success, or true fulfillment?
If you reach your biggest goal tomorrow, would it bring you lasting happiness—or temporary excitement?
Finding Meaning in the Age of AI – A Wake-Up Call
As AI continues to reshape our world, finding meaning in life is going to be more important than ever.
AI can be the thing that drags you deeper into a state of unconsciousness, blocked creativity, and denial…
Or the thing that jerks you awake and gets you moving forward into the life you want.
Are you using AI as a tool for learning and personal growth, or is it just using you?
If your products, services, skills, or ideas were replaced by AI tomorrow, what would you have left?
This isn’t meant to be discouraging—it’s a wake-up call to find out who we really are.
What are you really doing on this planet?
Are you creating something wholesome and impactful, or are you stuck on autopilot?
Are you subconsciously doing something you know feels wrong—just for the sake of survival?
In 2025, I’m going to keep the long-term impact of my actions in mind.
I want my efforts to lead to something positive, even if the effect seems small or indirect at first – knowing that if it impacts even one person’s life, that is a huge impact.
Are You Creating From Your Heart… or Just Keeping Up?
You can spend hours, days, and years glued to a computer screen.
Maybe you’re hustling to make sales, learning new AI tools, or just keeping up with paperwork.
18. But are you creating from a place of genuine personal creativity—or are you just endlessly trying to keep up?
If money is your primary motivator, I’m not here to shame you.
Money is powerful and important. It’s what keeps society going.
Without it, people will call YOUR dreams, “pipe dreams”–OUCH!
But if money is your primary motivator, here are some questions to ask yourself:
19. Do you believe your work is creating lasting impact and value?
20. What will you do with your money once you have it?
21. How will that make you feel?
22. Do you need the money to get that feeling, or can you give yourself that feeling regardless?
23. Are your actions attracting the kinds of personal and business relationships that are right for your wellbeing?
You don’t have to have all the answers.
But it’s important to ask yourself the questions, beause if YOU don’t care… if you’re not excited about it… then no one else will be!
If it’s not money… but fame, recognition, and status that you’re chasing:
24. What will you do with your influence?
25. Are you using it to uplift others, too, or is it just about the thrill of recognition?
Are you living in fear of losing the spotlight, constantly molding yourself to please others?
Real influence comes from impacting a person’s life in a meaningful way—whether that’s a family member, a friend, or someone you don’t know yet.
Final Thoughts
Instead of just pushing forward, take a moment to reflect.
Not just on where you’re going—but why.
The answers to these questions might not come immediately, but that’s okay. What matters is that you start asking.
Because when you do, you might just find yourself moving in a direction that feels right.
