Digital Marketing Manager History
Early Beginnings as Marketing Associate
As the Digital Marketing Manager for March Construction, I’ve had the pleasure of growing and evolving the company’s digital presence since joining as a Marketing Associate in 2018.
My role has shaped how we tell the company story, connect with our target clients, and showcase our expertise with concrete proof.
My humble beginnings started by creating and editing promotional materials, including brochures, proposals (RFPs), and digital ads for publish top real estate publications like RENJ, NJBIZ, Bisnow, and The Real Deal.
From there, I dove into the company’s website redesign on Squarespace, taking charge of full-scale rebrands that reflected March’s evolving vision.
Alongside this, I managed social media channels, taking photos, videos, and crafting content and graphics to highlight ongoing projects and keep our community engaged.
Between 2018 and 2021, I was March’s sole photographer and videographer, capturing progress photos, jobsite updates, and event footage for groundbreaking ceremonies.
These visuals played a vital role not just for our marketing efforts but also for developers looking to lease properties early.
The value I provided extended beyond internal use. Developers and leasing companies appreciated using my work to showcase completed projects, bridging the gap between construction and leasing.
High-end projects ranged from warehouses built for Triple-A clients like Amazon to high-end luxury residential buildings and hotels like Hilton.
A Level Up: Promoted to Digital Marketing Manager
In 2019, I saw an opportunity to enhance the company’s online experience by moving the website from Squarespace to WordPress.org, where I redesigned it using Elementor and improved site speed, SEO, and security.
As March partnered with a drone company in 2021, content production expanded, and so did my role. I was promoted to Digital Marketing Manager, overseeing collaborations with contractors, content creators, and publications.
My focus shifted to content strategy and overall marketing management, growing March’s LinkedIn audience to over 11,500 followers through targeted customer research and organic traffic growth.
I still do all a significant amount of photo & video for March, including groundbreaking ceremonies, events, and interviews with clients and executives.
Recently, I’ve honed my skills in professional interviewing and sales copywriting through certification and mentorship under Forbes-recognized copywriter, Tamsin Henderson.
This has elevated our ad campaigns and conversion rates, resulting in some of the highest engagement, well over over benchmark averages from publications like Bisnow.
I’m also developing a new content strategy in response to the evolving landscape of AI-driven marketing.
Looking ahead, I’m focused on building compelling case studies that serve as in-depth testimonials and high-conversion social proof, while continuing to refine our overall content strategy through market research and A/B testing.
My goal is to create content that speaks directly to our audience and brings in high-quality leads.
By aligning our messaging with what matters most to our audience, we aim to create more impactful and engaging content that resonates on a deeper level.
